He doesn’t really want to win. He didn’t the first time. If he loses MI, WI

PA, maybe IA, and loses the presidency in a non-landslide way, he can make millions, maybe start that new network he was planning on if he lost last time.

He thrives on adulation, and he’ll get plenty of it for the rest of his life as long as he doesn’t betray the true believers.

And— he might still win, if the electorate was s where the David Brookses of the world think it is.

So it’s a smart tactical decision, based on what I think his goals are. Remember nobody was nderstands branding better than Trump, give the devil his due. It may be an idiot savant thing, or it maybe genius, but he’s got it and we are stupid if we pretend he doesn’t.
